Simple Summer Time + Baby Update

The girls and I have settled into our new routine – quite seamlessly if I say so myself! I’m honestly shocked at how smooth this transition has been from one to two kids. I feel so thankful and am definitely not taking it for granted. Little Kennedy has been the sweetest addition to our family, and we are all pretty smitten with her.
I was thinking about my role as a mama and to be honest I didn’t think I could love it anymore when it was just Lilly. Yet somehow having Kennedy made that fire turn into a wild fire! I just really love being my girls mama and it’s by far one of my greatest joys in life. I was talking to my friend today about having more than one kid sort of forces you to be organized – at least for me that’s what I’ve found. During my pregnancy with baby K I became a total neat freak, and proudly so 😉 If you’ve followed along for a while you know I wasn’t very good at cleaning haha but now I LOVE a clean house and if it’s not it sorta drives me crazy. But also I became a lot more organized and efficient with my time, which I think has really helped the transition from one to two! It just makes everything easier when you’re organized and good with time management, otherwise it can get chaotic!
So when it comes to my beauty routine, this is also something that has been majorly simplified and honestly I’m loving it. I actually ditched foundation AND eyeliner (tutorial coming soon!)  and I’m really enjoying the ‘fresh but less’ look right now. Something that helps with that is getting in sunscreen with my moisturizer so that putting on SPF isn’t another added step. I’ve been using the Olay Complete All-Day Moisturizer SPF 15. Being  a bit busier now with my two girls, I honestly won’t think about putting on SPF on my face (which is the most important!!) so the fact that it’s already in my moisturizer makes it a no brainer! The formula leaves a long lasting hydration, while being super lightweight & is packed with antioxidants that helps condition the skin’ surface. If you’re interested in trying it out or re-stocking you can find it at Walgreens!
If you’ve had any big (or little) changes to your life or beauty routine,  I would love to know! Hope ya’ll are having an amazing day, thanks for catching up with me! Xo
