Recently I had been running short on energy  & bruising super easy and I couldn’t figure out why… and when I say short on energy I mean nearly everyday by 3pm I felt like I could fall asleep and was fatigued until I went to bed (that’s with coffee!!).  I was almost as drained as when I was pregnant and I didn’t understand why because Lilly has been sleeping pretty well (with a few exceptions because of teething.) Anyway, to make a long story short I realized I was not getting nearly enough iron from forgetting to take care of myself and I had become anemic.. (nothing a little boost in vitamins and protein intake can’t fix 🙂 )

So here’s a friendly reminder to all the mama’s who are running on coffee to take care of your health!! I had gotten so wrapped up in taking care of my little fam that I was pushing my needs to the side. I learned the hard way that you can only take care of your family to your best ability when you’re fully taking care of yourself. I went to the store and bought some pre-natals & iron supplements to try and give myself a boost and I’m starting to notice a big difference!

On a different note, these photos might be some of my favorites of me and Lilly thus far.. I’m always taking pics of Kyle & Lilly (cause I think they’re so adorable together 🙂 ) so it was fun to get some of me and my girl!
